Sancken Burgess was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. In the summer of 2000, Sancken moved to California to study biology at Humboldt State University. Once she arrived, Sancken found she was emerged in a completely new world of alternative thinking and healing.
Through her education and schooling, she began to realize that there had to be a balance, a balance between the western and eastern medicinal philosophies. This was where Sancken found her calling and her passion.
In December of 2007, Sancken graduated from the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado, founded by Mark Manton; and in February of 2009, Sancken became a certified Labor Doula through CAPPA (Childbrith and Postpartum Professional Association). In May of 2009, to better serve her clients, Sancken became certified in prenatal, labor and postnatal massage through Kate Jordan.
Sancken is a skilled massage therapist specializing in Hot Stone Therapy, Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release and Prenatal, Labor and Postnatal Massage Therapy.
